Privacy Policy for Chartered Accountants Ireland Bootcamp (“Bootcamp”)

This Privacy Policy sets out the way Bootcamp processes personal data of enrolled users. Processing includes any action carried out on the personal data of users including the collection, storage, disclosure and deletion of that personal data. This Privacy Policy applies to all courses offered by Bootcamp.

Personal data

We collect personal data from users in a variety of ways, including, when users enrol in Bootcamp or a course within Bootcamp, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available on Bootcamp. We will collect personal data from users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us.

Purpose of processing (Why we process personal data as part of Bootcamp)

The purpose of processing personal data of users is in order to provide access to Bootcamp. The minimum amount of information is gathered and processed by Chartered Accountants Ireland (the “Institute”). Any engagement data is processed at an aggregate level, and individual users are not identified. Bootcamp may also collect and use personal data for the following purposes:

· To improve customer service;

· Information you provide helps us respond to user requests and support needs more efficiently;

· To personalise user experience;

· To send periodic emails;

· We may use user email addresses to send information and updates pertaining to their order. User email addresses may also be used to respond to enquiries, questions, or other requests.

Sharing your personal data

We do not share personal data relating to users gathered through Bootcamp with any third parties apart from the platform provider Teachable.

Third party websites

Student may find advertising or other content in Bootcamp that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Storing your personal data

The data is stored on the Teachable website for the duration of the Student’s school registration/leaving certificate cycle (typically 2-3 years). Teachable is an international platform and is headquartered in New York. Teachable are the data controller for any personal data shared by users directly with Teachable. Changes to this policy

Bootcamp will update this Privacy Policy where required. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes.
